Paphos Run in the Sun

The Logicom Cyprus Marathon will take place this year on Sunday 12th March, the 23rd year that this annual running event will take place in Cyprus.

Cyprus is fast becoming one of the most popular sport destinations in Europe, with an ever increasing itinerary of major events hosted throughout the year. Its location, climate, warm Mediterranean waters, teamed with the facilities on the island make it a fantastic venue for these very well organised events. Logicom Cyprus Marathon is one of the biggest of these events and is always a huge success; with plenty of participants (travelling from all corners of the world), great safety measures in place and a fantastic atmosphere.

Not to mention the location. The Marathon starts at Aphrodite’s Rock, one of the most scenic spots in Cyprus, where runners follow the beautiful coast road (with some diversions to add extra kilometers to make up the distance) to finish at the Medieval Castle on Paphos Harbour. All other races start and finish from the Harbour, where the atmosphere is full of fun and encouragement).

Marathon: 7.30am (Aphrodite’s Rock)
Half Marathon: 8.30am (Paphos Castle)
10km Road Race: 8.45am (Paphos Castle)
5km Fun Run: 9am (Paphos Castle)
