Aphrodite Hills Resort is only a 75 minute drive from Larnaca International Airport.  You can book a taxi to pick you up, or arrange your hire car to be collected on arrival at the airport (or alternatively from your villa).

How do we get the keys?

As part of the Aphroditerentals.com commitment to service excellence, one of our Guest Relations team will personally meet you on arrival to hand over the keys to your holiday home.

We will request your flight details ahead of your arrival, and also ask that you call us as you leave the airport, prompting us to make arrangements to wait for you in the lay-by at the entrance to Aphrodite Hills, from where we will escort you to your holiday home, give you a brief guided tour to settle you in and hand over the keys.

There’s no getting lost in the dark, or fumbling around finding keys with us!

Do we need to hire a car?

If you are booking to stay at a villa on the Eastern Plateau of the Resort then we definitely recommend hiring a car (the walk to the Resort village centre from here is more than 30 minutes and is not flat).

If you are staying on the Western Plateau of the Resort then a hire car is not necessary, unless you are thinking of exploring Cyprus – if you’re thinking of leaving the Resort even more than just a couple of times then we would recommend hiring a car as it is quite economical in price compared with Taxis.

There is a great bus service that runs from the Resort to Paphos harbour. Read more about GETTING AROUND. 

Our recommended car hire company:  we recommend a company called Paforentals based in Paphos who we have found to be very reliable, offer great service, have a good fleet and who are used very often by our guests.  You can contact them on:

How do we arrange a transfer from the airport?

We do not take care of airport transfers, however we are more than happy to recommend Palepafos Taxis to you. Do not wait and hail a taxi at the airport, you will pay way over the odds.

Palepafos Taxis have varying cars and mini buses available and are very familiar with the Resort, and our properties.  You can contact them by Telephone +357 26 432 161 or e-mail: palepafostaxi@live.com  (the lady who takes care of the bookings is called Despina and she is very helpful and friendly).

What is check-in / check-out time?

Check-in: 4pm. Part of our aphroditerentals.com commitment to customer care means we will do our best to accommodate an earlier check-in wherever possible.

Check-out: 10am. We will be happy for you to stay in your holiday home until a little later, providing we don’t have another arrival that day (charges may apply after a certain time in the event that an extended check-out is available). If you would like a late check-out, please make a note to contact your Guest Relations team a couple of days before you are due to leave the resort to check if it is available.

In the event that there is an arrival coming on your departure day and a 10am check-out is required, you will be more than welcome to use our Departure Lounge, which is situated on Apollo Heights Village, in the upper floor of the P-Block of apartments. It offers a beautiful communal swimming pool, shower & changing facilities, free WIFI, free soft drinks and tea & coffee. The departure lounge is open until 5pm, and is booked on a first-come first-served basis.

Booking Information

Payment Terms

A partial payment in the amount of 20% of the grand total is due no later than 5 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Payment Methods

Payment can be made online using our secure online payment processor, or alternatively you can pay via bank transfer (to our UK or Cyprus bank account).

Booking Process

A selection of our properties are available to book online, or alternatively these, and all other properties can be booked directly with our reservations team via email  or over the phone. All we need to make your booking is your full name, telephone number and email address.

Covid-19 customer care policy

We have handled a lot of bookings during the Covid-19 pandemic and the travel barriers that it has presented since 2020, and we can confidently offer you peace of mind that we will take care of you and your booking should you face any issues with getting here. I am a returning guest, do I get any benefits?

As a valued return guest we will extend a 5% discount on your next stay (outside of July/August). Some properties are exempt – ask Reservations for more information.

Our Accidental Damage Protection Policy

We have replaced the traditional damage deposit methods such as large refundable security deposit payments or holding of credit card details with a new, innovative Accidental Damage Protection scheme. This is in-line with global holiday rental business practice which is ever evolving to better meet the needs of both clients and property owners. The new, low-cost Accidental Damage Protection charge is added to the cost of your villa rental (cost is determined by property size) which is payable with your booking balance.

This non-refundable charge will cover you for any accidental damages that occur during your stay in the property – a simple and affordable solution for complete peace of mind. You can enjoy your holiday without the worry that you may accidentally break something and have an unexpected expense to your holiday.

What's Included?

Self Catering Holiday

Our properties are rented purely on a self-catering basis, so that you can enjoy the flexibility that a self-catering holiday provides. Aphroditerentals.com provide you with hair dryers, hand towels, bath towels and pool towels for your convenience which will be available in your holiday home upon arrival. We do not provide cleaning products, however we do make sure that there is a new dish cloth, tea towel, toilet paper and bin liners in the bathrooms for your arrival.

We are resort-based and our Guest Relations team are on hand 24/7 in case you require any assistance with the property during your stay, or would like some advice on holiday ideas whilst you are here.

Children’s equipment

We have travel cots and high chairs available for rental (€40.00 per week for each), but for any other children’s equipment hire we recommend a company called ‘Kidstravellite’ who have a fantastic range of stock, from nappies and toys, to car seats, wooden cots and stairgates.  You can contact Yvonne directly on email:  Do mention that you are an aphroditerentals.com guest, as you will be entitled to a discount.  Yvonne is great and knows the Resort very well.

Catering

We do not provide catering services, but can recommend a couple of local companies if you would like to arrange some private cheffing at your holiday home. Get in touch with us for more information.

Cleaning

If you are staying for more than 8 nights one additional mid-term clean (clean, linen and towel change) will be scheduled for each additional week or part week that you stay. Your mid-term clean will include: strip and make-up of beds, linen change (including towels), general kitchen tidy, bathroom clean and removal of rubbish.

If you would like to have any additional cleaning arranged for your holiday then this would be payable at an hourly rate, and must be booked, arranged and paid in advance of your arrival.

Welcome Pack

If you’ve got a late arrival flight, or would simply like to have some basic items ready and waiting in your holiday home for your arrival then you can book one of our two types of welcome packs: standard welcome pack for €35.00 (includes milk, bread, tea, spread, jam, coffee, eggs, water, orange juice) or if you fancy something a little more elaborate then our premium welcome pack (including prosecco, wine, beers and fruit basket) is €70.00.

If you would like to arrange a full shop ahead of your arrival then our Guest Relations team will be happy to help you coordinate this. We recommend AlphaMega Supermarket for grocery deliveries to the Resort: shop with Alphamega.

There is a well-stocked Supermarket on-site which is open early morning to early evening 7days a week if you’d prefer to shop when you get here.

Pool Heating

Pool heating is recommended between October – May for private pools and is payable at an additional cost (cost varies per property). Not all private pools have pool heating, this is noted on the property description, together with the cost.

Guest Services

What support do we have when we’re there?

During your meet & greet you will be met by your dedicated Guest Relations team member who will give you their contact details so that you can get in touch with them for any assistance that you require with the property, or advice for your holiday, whilst you are here.

So if a lightbulb blows, or there’s a technical issue with any of the appliances then our resort-based team can assist you right away. They will also help you with any holiday questions that you have, and point you in the right direction, making your holiday as easy and stress-free as possible, with the added bonus of local knowledge.

Ahead of Arrival

Read our in-house ‘8509 magazine’ online ahead of your arrival to get familiar with the Resort, its facilities, the local area and our personal recommendations on where to go and where to eat. There will be a hard copy of the magazine awaiting your arrival in your holiday home too!

Special Arrangements

If you’re celebrating a special birthday or anniversary when you’re here then our Guest Relations Team will be happy to send you information on our recommended cake, balloon and decoration suppliers, to add that special touch on your holiday! Medical Info

We work closely with WeCare Medical Centre, based in Paphos, who can even provide home visits to your holiday villa should you require. In case you require any medical attention during your holiday, our Guest Relations Team can help you with the best contact numbers, which are also listed in our 8509 Magazine.

The Resort

As an Aphroditerentals.com guest can we access the resort facilities

Absolutely! Guests staying on the Resort are entitled to use all of the Resort facilities (payable locally), with the exception of the kids’ club and the hotel facilities (this is just the hotel pool and restaurants within the hotel). The Resort facilities include:

Is Aphrodite Hills Resort a beach resort?

Aphrodite Hills is a golf and leisure Resort, set on a beautiful landscape with stunning Mediterranean Sea views; it is not a beach Resort and does not have a private beach. However, we are situated within close proximity of some lovely local beaches (car hire required), such as the famous Aphrodite’s Rock (less than 5km away), Pissouri Bay Beach (around 12km away) and Geroskipou Beach (around 20km away).

Is Child Care Available?

Private childminding and babysitting can be arranged with qualified, registered childminders, so you can have your quality time out knowing that your children are at home with the best care.
