Limassol’s biggest annual event comes a little later than usual this year, rather than late August the 62nd year of the Limassol Wine Festival will take place between 7th – 15th October 2023.

This extremely popular festival is highly anticipated every year, and is a wonderful celebration of the island’s wine production – historically one of the most notable industries in Cyprus, and in the world (Cyprus’ wine production dates back more than 5500 years). The festival hosts exhibitions and stalls of a vast number of the Cyprus’ wineries, giving visitors the opportunity to taste the islands best wines and buy them from stalls at discounted rates. Commandaria naturally plays an important role in these exhibitions, which is understandable given that it is the world’s oldest wine and one that is still in production.
