Did you know that kids can start scuba diving from the age of 8? Scuba diving as a family can be a lovely way of bonding, nothing can beat sharing the experience of exploring the underwater world together!

Free local pick up service is available with Cyprus Diving Adventures, who are all about ‘safety-first’, especially when it comes to your little ones. Learning to scuba dive in Cyprus is also especially fun because you learn in the warm, clear, safe sea waters meaning that the kids will also get to discover some of the local sea life too.

If you are young, or still aspire to be, Fasouri Waterpark is for you. It boasts speed slides, a lazy river, wave pool, kiddies pool and a big, inflatable dome to keep you wet and weary all day long..will you brave the kamikaze?!

There is also a good choice of eateries, where you can indulge in mini-donuts, crepes and icecreams (or a smoothie for the health-conscious!).

Fasouri is our preferred waterpark on the island because it is safe, clean, renovated annually and well manned with qualified lifeguards.

Directions: Take the A6 motorway to Limassol, getting off before the 1st flyover at the 1st roundabout (signposted port). Head towards the port, turn right at traffic lights, follow signs for waterpark.

The Sparti Platres Adventure Park is located in the pretty village of Pano Platres in the Troodos mountains – a great stop-spot if you are exploring the area, but also well worth the drive for a specific visit.

The park features various courses with ropes and zip lines between the pine trees. Take your little monkey for some outdoor adventure – kids as young as 4 can enjoy the park (right through to adults), and safety is good too – using a French safety system.
